Adam Wolfond was key note speaker for the April 2023 conference. You can watch the presentation here: CUNY Presentation

Here are some of the comments from attendees:

Dear Adam,

Thank you so much for an incredible presentation at the CUNY Neurodiversity Conference on Friday. It was absolutely the highlight of the day, and perhaps the most impactful talk I have ever heard, and gives us a roadmap toward true acceptance and inclusion of neurodivergence in our society. I fear that my language cannot do it justice, since you already spoke so eloquently, but I did want to share some of the thoughts from the audience in case you didn’t catch everything in the chat:

This is the most multi-sensory keynote speech I've ever witnessed. Between the word choices and the visuals, I'm simultaneously energized with creativity and grounded in my body. This is unbelievable. Thank you for this, Adam!

I am deeply moved by the way you use, blend, and describe your processes, Adam!

I am bathing in your insights, I am buttressed in my feeling

I’m realizing in real time that one of my “keys” (synesthesia) has never been rallied in a talk like this, and how many more connections I am able to make with its inclusion. Thank you for facilitating pathways for us to connect in this space. What an exceptionally moving keynote.

"Even those words competence and intelligence are abstract. They are imposed on our bodies as a fact rather than a social construction." YES

The rally is bathingly open!

This was really refreshing. Awesome presentation

Brilliance at a level of creative genius. I am so honored to have the opportunity to engage in this morning's keynote.

Your master of the English language is incredible.

Not a question, just I really appreciate your use of critical posthumanism in your critiques of neurotypicality and in your poetry. Very cool.

That was an amazing presentation! Your answers are so deep. I am so honored to be here today and learned so much.

Thank you so much for your deeply inspiring and brilliant keynote. It raises so many questions about what our goals should be in developing supports for students and is a rallying call for a different, more connected and fluid, way of creating and being together. So powerful and wise — would be a really excellent training resource for educators.

Adam, this was among one of the best keynotes I have heard! thank you!
